The Parrot Zoo / The National Parrot Sanctuary
Located in the pretty village of Friskney, not far from Boston and a short drive from Skegness you will find find The Parrot Zoo, Europe's only dedicated parrot zoo. Home to some 1350 happy parrots and parakeets, it is the largest collection of rescued parrots in the UK.
All of the resident birds enjoy spacious enclosures and flights, set amongst the 16.5 acres of landscaped grounds. We particularly enjoyed the walk-through aviary where you really can get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures.
Once you've mingled with our feathered friends, why not grab yourself a bite to eat at the Nestcafé or for non-drivers of the party, something stronger at The Cockatiel Bar? A lovely picnic area is also available for those of you wishing to bring your own food and drink.
The Parrot Zoo incorporates The National Parrot Sanctuary, a registered charity (Number: 1062413).
